"Commandments of Jesus

Jesus Commands us to love God Yahweh with all our hearts

Jesus (Yeshua) said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments," (John 14:15, KJV).

Matthew 22:36-40

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

When you love God Yahweh with all your heart, soul and mind you will be obedient to his word and you will abide in him and he will abide in you through his Holy Spirit. His spirit will guide, lead and direct your paths and will give you the strength you need to reject sin and resist temptation, his Grace is sufficient to give you the power not to sin but to hold fast to his strength,.

Matthew 7:12

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

By loving your neighbor as you love yourself, you will not cheat him or her, you will not fornicate or commit adultery with his or her husband/wife. you will not lie about him or her or steal from him or her. You will not raise false testimony against him or her. this is the Law in a nutshell. We try so hard to please God Yahweh through our works but it is mere filthy rages to him for without faith it is impossible to please God.

Hebrews 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

1. You Must Forgive those who sin against you or trespass against you.. Do not pray with unforgiveness in your heart for our father in heaven will not forgive you if you forgive not.

Mark 11:25-26

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

John 3:7

"You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again."

You need to be Born Again of the Spirit of God (Yahweh) Water Baptism is a sign of your commitment and surrender to God Yahweh by trusting in the works of his son Jesus Christ Yeshua on the Cross or tree as son believe. it is through his spirit that we are made new a new creature in Christ (Yeshua)

John 15:4

We must abide in him, trust and depend on him to deliver us through life's troubles trials and difficulties.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

There is nothing you can do outside of Jesus ( Yeshua) everything we do must be in conformance with his word and truth of Scripture. we bring forth fruit and good works because he abides in us and his spirit is at work in us.

Matthew 5:14

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

You must testify of your faith , you must proclaim his work in you to others, witness to others of his love, his truth's and what he has done in your life. Be a light to the lost and a shelter for the weak spiritually. the salt of the earth.

Matthew 5:25

25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

Be quick and settle your differences with your enemy before things get out of order and he then turns against you and drags you into court and take more from you.

Matthew 5:29-30

29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Get rid of whatever may cause you to fall into temptation and sin, fight it to the death! hold fast the fear of the Lord and be righteous and Holy for your God Elohim is Holy!

Matt 5: 34-37

"But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

Matthew 5:38-39

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

We must be willing to love our enemies with the love of Jesus, give to them the love of Jesus, his love is an everlasting love that completes all. We are to forgive others especially those who come against us and do us wrong and harm, this can only be accomplished through the Holy Spirit of God Yahweh.

Matthew 5:40-42

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Be willing to give unto others as if you were giving to Jesus, this our Lord Loves for us to care for the little ones the unfortunate and the neglected. To share with others in our time, money or whatever way we can.

Matthew 6:1

6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 6:5-7

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
